Urinary Complaints During Pregnancy.
Urinary frequency during pregnancy is a common complaint. This can be caused by the growing baby resting on the bladder and increase tin fluid intake. Urinary frequency can also be a sign of urinary tract infection (UTI) and may or may not be accompanied by burning and urgency. Symptoms accompanied by low backache, flu-like symptoms or hematuria (blood in urine) can be signs of a kidney infection. Call your physician's office for an evaluation. Symptoms accompanied by pelvic pain/ pressure or vaginal bleeding need to be evaluated ASAP by your physician or in labor and delivery.
